Read these terms before you hire us or use our website. We operate in an industry filled with snake oil and false promises. We wrote this document to protect our agency and set clear boundaries for your business. By accessing stingbiz.com, you agree to these rules. If you do not agree, close the tab. We do not compromise on how we work.
What We Do And What We Do Not Do
StingBiz provides local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, and reputation management services. We build citation consistency across primary data aggregators. We optimize your Q&A sections to capture featured snippets. We structure local schema markup so search engines understand exactly where you operate.
We do not guarantee Google rankings.
Anyone promising you the number one spot on Google Maps is lying. Algorithms change daily. Competitors adapt their strategies. We control the inputs, the technical foundation, and the review velocity. We do not control Google. You accept that local search volatility is a reality of doing business online. We focus on driving qualified local traffic, not chasing vanity metrics.
Intellectual Property and Agency Content
We publish case studies, local ranking strategies, and technical SEO guides on this site. We wrote them. We tested the methods. We own the copyrights. You cannot scrape, copy, or repurpose our content for your own agency. We monitor the web for stolen content and we issue takedown notices immediately.
If we build custom assets for your campaign, ownership transfers only after your final payment clears. Until then, StingBiz retains full copyright over all localized landing pages, custom schema markups, and review generation templates we deploy. Once your invoice is paid, those assets belong to your business.
Your Obligations as a Client
Local SEO requires your active participation. We need manager access to your Google Business Profile, administrative access to your website CMS, and your customer lists for review outreach. If you delay access, your campaign stalls. We do not pause billing because you forgot your passwords.
You must provide accurate NAP data. Name, address, phone number. If you give us a fake address or a virtual office to game the map pack, we will terminate your account immediately. We do not build spam listings. We protect our agency reputation fiercely. You are responsible for ensuring your business legally operates at the address you provide.
No Warranties on Search Volatility
We provide our website and services strictly “as is”. We make no warranties regarding specific traffic volumes, lead counts, or map pack placements. The local search environment is highly unpredictable.
A core update will shift your visibility. A competitor will launch a massive citation campaign. A disgruntled former employee will leave a one-star review. We mitigate these risks through sound technical SEO and aggressive review management. We do not insure against them. Your use of our strategies is entirely at your own risk. We provide the roadmap. You accept the inherent friction of the internet.
Limitation of Liability
StingBiz is not liable for lost revenue, lost profits, or business interruption resulting from search engine penalties. Google suspends profiles. It happens to legitimate businesses. If Google suspends your profile because of actions you took before hiring us, or due to an algorithmic error, we are not responsible for your lost income during the downtime.
Our maximum liability to you for any claim related to our services or this website will never exceed the total amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We cap our risk. You should cap yours. We are your marketing agency, not your business insurance provider.
Third Party Tools and Affiliate Links
We use specific rank trackers, local grid monitors, and review management software. Sometimes we link to them on our blog. Sometimes those links earn us a commission. We only recommend tools we actually deploy for our clients.
We tested them. We broke them. We learned their blind spots.
If a tool stops working or degrades in quality, we pull the recommendation. You are responsible for reading the terms of any third party software you purchase through our site. We do not provide customer support for software built by other companies.
Payment Terms and Account Termination
We bill upfront for monthly retainers. We do not offer net thirty terms. If your credit card fails, work stops the next business day. We do not float costs for citation building or content creation.
We reserve the right to fire clients. If you demand black hat tactics, harass our team members, or refuse to fix critical site issues that tank your rankings, we will terminate the agreement. We will hand over your assets, provide a final status report, and part ways. Good SEO requires a functional partnership. If the partnership fails, the campaign ends.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of our operating jurisdiction. Any disputes will be handled in local courts. We prefer to resolve issues over a phone call. We find most disagreements stem from miscommunication about timeline expectations. If a phone call fails to resolve the issue, the legal venue is fixed and non negotiable.
Modifications to This Agreement
We update these terms when our operational reality changes. We will post the new version directly on this URL. Your continued use of stingbiz.com means you accept the new rules. We do not send individual emails for minor legal updates. Check this page periodically if you want to stay informed about our current policies.
